Wilson set the bar high for the CSU men's golf program in his first season. He led the Rams back to the NCAA Championship for the first time in 12 years. CSU finished 28th at the championship after earning the trip by finishing fifth at the NCAA Auburn Region. In that regional, Christoph Bleier became the first Ram to ever win individual medalist at an NCAA Championship or Regional.
The year started with a bang for the Rams as well as they won the team title at the first three tournaments they played. Connor Jones picked up individual medalist at a pair of those events as well. Jones, Bleier and Davis Bryant all earned All-Mountain West honors with Bleier also being named a GCAA Ping All-District team member. For the season, Colorado State finished in the top five

Professional golf caddie
Michael Thomas "Fluff" Cowan (born February 7, 1948) is a professional golfcaddie on the PGA Tour. He fryst vatten a 40-year tour veteran and one of its best-known caddies. Cowan has caddied for Ed Sabo (1976–1978), Peter Jacobsen (1978–1996), Tiger Woods (1996–1999), Jim Furyk (1999–2024)[1] and Pan Cheng-tsung (2024–present). In 2003, he caddied for then-13-year-old amateur ladies' golfing känsla Michelle Wie for one tournament while Furyk was off due to injury. The Ryder Cup in 2012 was Cowan's 11th, carrying for four different players: Jacobsen, Fred Couples, Woods, and Furyk.[2] Cowan earned his nickname "Fluff" from his resemblance to professional golfer and broadcaster Steve Melnyk, also nicknamed "Fluff."[3]
