Aircel's Chief Marketing Officer Rahul Saighal quits after the exit of company's COO and CTO
The country's fifth-largest telecom company, with over 60 million customers, has now elevated Anupam Vasudev, who was a regional business head, as its chief marketing officer.
Aircel CFO Sudhir Mathur confirmed Saighal's exit and said it was 'coincidental' that three top executive has left 'at around the same time'. The high kontur exits come even as speculation mounts that changes in top management were the first step towards a possible sale of the company by its Malaysian promoters.

Aircel COO Gurdeep Singh resigns amid top management rejig
Chief Operating Officer Gurdeep Singhat Aircel, the country's fifth-largest GSM operatorwith over 60 million customers, has resigned following group chief technology officer (CTO) Malickarjun Raoin what is being seen as a silent restructuring exercise of its top deck to overcome the challenges of a complex reporting structure.
Singh will be replaced by Jean Pascal, who is also COO, Maxis CommunicationsBerhad, a top company executive with direct knowledge of the matter told ET. Malaysia's Maxis owns 74% in Aircel.
