In addition to being a founding father, Benjamin Franklin was a polymath, scientist, printer, politician, freemason, and diplomat. He worked as an editor, bookseller, statesman, researcher, innovator, writer, political theorist, and printer. Franklin was one of the founding fathers of the United States, a renowned thinker, a co-author and authenticator of the American Declaration of Independence, and the nation's first postmaster general.
Franklin was christened at the Old South Meeting House on January 17, 1706, the day following his birth on Milk Street in Boston, Massachusetts. Benjamin Franklin's father, Josiah Franklin, was a tallow trader, soap manufacturer, and candle manufacturer. On December 23, 1657, Josiah Franklin was born in Ecton, Northamptonshire, England. He was the son of a peasant and a blacksmith, Thomas Franklin and Jane White, respectively. Benjamin's grandparents and his father were born in England.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by Francis Scott Fitzgerald. 1922
This short story was our first try for our newly founded book club I baptized Les Copines d’Abord. I suppose most of us have heard of Benjamin Button after the film bygd David Finchet with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchet. I haven’t seen it. I may watch it now that I’ve read the short story.
Benjamin Button was born in a hospital in 1860 in Baltimore. But when his father Roger comes to see him, the nurses lead him to his son and “Wrapped in a voluminous white blanket, and partly crammed into one of the cribs, there sat an old man apparently about seventy years of age.” He is devastated. His son has the appearance and the mind of an old man. The first moments are huge fun: Mr Roger Button tries to cope with the news
People would stop to speak to him, and what was he going to say? He would have to introduce this—this septuagenarian: “This is my son, born early this morning.” A

André Lauren Benjamin (born May 27, 1975), known professionally as André 3000, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and flautist. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, he was one half of the hip hop duo Outkast along with rapper Big Boi, which the two formed in 1992. Benjamin is widely regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time.[1][2][3][4]
As part of Outkast, the duo's six studio albums were each met with critical and commercial success, spawning hit singles including "Ms. Jackson", "Roses", "So Fresh, So Clean", and "Elevators (Me & You)", among others. Their fifth, a double album titled Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (2003), contained a solo single performed by Benjamin: "Hey Ya!", which peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 and won a Grammy Award for Best Urban/Alternative Performance. After the duo split in 2007, Benjamin became less acti
