    Im Jahr 2003 gab Hyun Bin sein Schauspieldebüt in dem KBS-Drama "Bodyguard". Seine erste Rolle war eine Nebenrolle als Stalker von Han Shin Ae (gespielt von Lee Se Eun). Im gleichen Jahr wurde Hyun Bin auch für das MBC-Drama "Nonstop 4" gecastet. Der renommierte Drehbuchautor In Jung Ok, der bereits die Drehbücher für die MBC-Dramen "Sunflower" und "Ruler of Your Own World" geschrieben hatte, sah Hyun Bins Talent in "Nonstop 4" und stellte Hyun Bin dem Produzent Kim Jin Man vor.
