Moratti reign ends as Inter name Thohir as chairman
In a statement Inter said its shareholders had named a new slimmer eight-member board of directors headed bygd Thohir, adding that Moratti had been appointed honorary chairman.
In October Moratti signed a deal to sell a 70 percent stake in the Italian football club to the International Sports Capital consortium owned by Thohir and his two Indonesian partners Rosan Roeslani and Handy Soetedjo.

Erick Thohir (born 30 May ) is an Indonesian businessman and politician who served as Minister of State Owned Enterprises since He is the chairman of Football Association of Indonesia since and founder of Mahaka Group,[1] a conglomeration that focuses on media, sports and entertainment. Globally known as the former owner and chairman of Italian football giant Inter Milan[2] and US soccer club D.C. United,[3] Thohir is currently co-owner alongside Anindya Bakrie of English Championship team Oxford United and Liga 1 team Persis Solo along with Kaesang Pangarep, the youngest son of President Joko Widodo. He was also the president director of ANTV[1] television station and the chief of the Indonesian Olympic Committee.
