Writer-director Mathieu Turis debut is a zombie post-apocalypse thriller cum meditation on a romantic relationship, brazenly tied together. Despite heartfelt acting and high production values (on a low budget, no less!), the melodramatic direction, tone-deaf dialogue, predictable plot, and overly intellectual transitions caused me to check out, mentally if not physically, about a fourth of the way into this under-ninety-minute effort. Elevated horror Hostile () is not.
Juliette (Brittany Ashworth, acting her heart out) is scavenging food for her home group in a Mad Max: Fury Roadsetting when her car flips over, pinning her down, fracturing her shin, and making her prey for roving nocturnal cannibal creatures (Javier Botet). Definitely not a 1* movie. Not compared with some of 'indi' horror movies on here. Product values are good, the script and plot are okay. It's definitely slow going, but it's okay. 3 Stars

Rubbish. Nothing like the description says. Certainly NOT terrifying but DEFINITELY boring. Don't waste your money

Tremendous,a picture can say a thousand words and one word can become a picture,, forever means without end. Bacon was genius and the makers of this film explained the picture superbly and thats what you call art!

Brittany Francine Ashworth[citation needed] is an English actress. She began her career in the film Mrs Ratcliffe's Revolution and the ITV drama Mobile (both ). She has since starred in the films The Crucifixion and Hostile (both ), as well as The Ledge (). She also had a recurring role in the BBC and HBO series Industry ().
