  • So, in 2017, he and a handful of his closest collaborators, who also happen to be some of his closest friends, decided to move to South Carolina, where they had filmed plenty of TV and then returned together as serial vacationers. The plan was simple, but grand in ambition: to airlift the whole McBride creative brain trust, 8 or 10 whole families, to a pleasant and occasionally hard-partying city far from the spotlight.

    It worked. Here, they’ve built a warmhearted, Southern comedy commune that runs on Lowcountry oysters, dick jokes, and large quantities of tequila. They spend their days, as they always have, making wildly funny movies and TV shows about deeply unpleasant people, riding an unmatched understanding of thwarted American masculinity to surprising wealth and influence.     Daniel Richard McBride was born on December 29, 1976. He is an American actor, comedian, and writer. He starred in the HBO television series Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones (T.V. Series), the first two of which he co-created with frequent collaborator Jody Hill.

    McBride was born in Statesboro, Georgia. He grew up in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. He attended University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he was roommates with collaborator Jody Hill and Eastbound & Down co-star, Ben Best. McBride, Hill, and Best also attended alongside director David Gordon Green, another frequent collaborator. Green and McBride worked tillsammans on Pineapple Express, Your Highness, and the Halloween film series reboot.

    (1976- )  Danny McBride was born Daniel Richard McBride in Statesboro, Georgia, and grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He graduated from Courtland High School in Spotsylvania, Virginia, in 1995, and he attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he received a BFA in filmmaking. In 2003 McBride starred in his first film, All the Real Girls.

    After All the Real Girls, McBride collaborated with Hill and Best on a film called The Foot Fist Way in 2006. The film was recognized at the Sundance bio Festival and gained the attention of actors Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, and Seth Rogen, who helped McBride land small parts in Hot Rod,The Heartbreak Kid,Superbad, and Drillbit Taylor.
